Ribbonfish Birthdays

Birthdays, on the day.

Ribbonfish Birthdays is a birthday bot for Discord. Members register their own birthday. On the day, the bot announces it and gives them a birthday role.

## Members register their own

Each member adds their own birthday and can change or remove it at any time. Only the month and day are asked for, so nobody's age is known.

## An announcement on the day

The bot posts in the channel your server picks, naming everyone whose birthday it is. Your server can write the texts it uses.

## A birthday role for the day

Members wear the role from the start of their birthday to its end. The bot takes back only the role it gave, so a member who already had it keeps it.

## On each member's own clock

The birthday role runs from midnight to midnight in the member's timezone, or the server's if they set none. If the bot was down when the day began, the announcement still goes out late, within the day.
