Ever wanted a Discord bot that's actually kind of alive?

Epiphyte gives your server one plant — just one, shared by everyone in it. No leaderboard, no XP grind, no "ding, level up!" spam. It grows when people talk. It dries out when the server goes quiet. That's genuinely the whole bot, and that's the point.

🌿 WHAT MAKES IT TICK

Once an hour, it checks in on your server. Been chatty since the last check? It grows a step, following its own little genetic quirks — no two servers' plants ever grow quite alike, even with the same amount of activity.

Been dead silent instead? It dries out, and if the silence drags on long enough, that shows up permanently in the plant's shape from then on. Your server's history — the busy weeks, the quiet ones — literally becomes part of what the thing looks like.

🔒 NO CHEATING THE PLANT

Here's the part people usually ask about: kicking the bot and re-inviting it does NOT reset your plant. That's deliberate, not a bug, not an oversight. There's no reset command, no delete button, no admin backdoor — what your server has grown, it keeps, for as long as the server exists.

The first time you bind a channel, Epiphyte actually tells you this upfront — a short heads-up with a confirm button — before your plant even gets created. No surprises later.

🕹️ COMMANDS

- /epiphyte-channel — pick a channel for it to live in. First time in a server, it explains the permanence thing above and waits for you to confirm. After that, it just moves the display if you rebind.

- /plant — a private peek at your plant, only you can see it. If the bound channel ever goes missing, this is also where you'd find out — the plant's still growing fine, just invisible until you rebind.

- /help — a short guide you can flip through, page by page.

Fully open source, MIT licensed, doesn't read your messages, no privileged permissions, no ads, no premium tier, no catch. Built and run as a personal art project — not a bot farming server counts. If it feels slow, that's not a bug, that's the entire idea: a tree doesn't grow in an afternoon, and neither should this.
